Arun K. Mishra, PhD: Arun has over 6 years of scientific project management experience
in healthcare, honed with a distinct approach
of problem solving by logical hypotheses. He has a B. Tech from GGSIP University and a M.S. (Research) from IIT Delhi, India with a DAAD scholarship from TU Berlin, Germany. Following his Masters, Arun was awarded a Darwin trust PhD fellowship from the University of Birmingham and at present is a post-doctoral research fellow at the same place. Arun has 10+ publications to his credit in international journals and has several awards and credentials to his name. He is also a registered consultant at UNESCO roster and recently been appointed as a consultant on a drug-resistant project at University of Minho, Portugal. He has been responsible for revamping International Students Association and foundation of a not-for-profit organisation Bharat Parivar (Indian Family) at the University of Birmingham, UK.

Aileen Moloney, PhD: Aileen was awarded a First class honours degree from the University College Cork, Ireland. Upon graduating fourth position she was awarded a prestigious ‘college Scholar’ title and continued a successful Ph.D in Biochemistry from the same University. Her successful career in neurobiology research to date began at the University of Cambridge and continues today at the University of Oxford. As project leader and manager, her commitment to building consensus and excellence throughout her research projects has led to 9 peer reviewed publications, 8 international professional presentations and multiple self-initiated commercial interactions. As a keen member of two team sports and fund raiser for multiple charity events she is keen to apply her qualitative and quantitative skills to key issues in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries of the consulting sector.

Berna Demiray, MSc: A final year PhD candidate at the University College London (UCL), Berna has already completed a Masters degree at Imperial College and bachelors from UCL. Within the lab, Berna has advanced her communication skills, achieving recognition through several awards at both internal and international conferences. Outside of the lab Berna has been an active volunteer and fundraiser for various charitable events, as well as team coordinator for the first TEDxUCL event. Experience working on a market research consulting project has provided the experience necessary to confirm a desire to work in consulting, while nurturing organisational and teamwork skills acquired throughout. With an international upbringing and an interest in languages has led Berna to achieve an advanced knowledge English, Turkish, French and German, as well as foundation in Flemish and Modern Greek.

Elijah Nazarzadeh, PhD: Elijah was graduated with a PhD from King’s College London in Fluid Mechanics. His project was on formation and characterization of nanoemulsions. The out come of his research are peer reviewed journal papers and he is currently prepare a patent application based on his results. Before moving to the UK, to continue his studies, he worked as manager and founder of the first outdoor paintball field in Iran and also worked in various positions as supervisor and hardware staff.

Michael McKay, PhD: Michael was awarded his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa) in 2009. Thereafter, he assumed a post-doctoral research position in Sweden, followed by a fellowship at the Emory Institute for Drug Development (United States) in 2010. During this time, he realised an intrinsic interest in the research/business interface of pharmaceutical and life science R&D. He has set sights on a career in consulting as a means by which to nurture this interest and leverage his capabilities, while maintaining his core interests in pharmaceuticals and the life science industry.
